MASSIMO SCALIA

Massimo Scalia is an Italian politician and university teacher at La Sapienza di Roma; he is between the founding fathers of scientific environmentalism in Italy.

He founded Lega per l'Ambiente, now called Legambiente; he has been among the first members of Parliament of Liste Verdi during the 80's, then president of Bicameral Commission to investigate on litters cycle.

He brought on a campaign against nuclear and for sustainable energies.

Today he is currently founder of Democratic Ecologists and Ecologic Movement.
